Welcome to RealFast!
Lite
UDP/IP Core
The UDP/IP Lite Core is
suitable for implementing high-speed point-to-point communication with a PC
where a UART or the parallel port is not fast enough. It is also great for
sending large amount of data (210 bytes) in one packet.
This lite version of the
UDP/IP core is a convenient solution if high-speed communication is desired to a
very low cost of hardware.
Typical Applications
- Point-to-point PC
communication
- Audio communication
- Video/image transfer
Features
- Send and receive UDP-packets over Ethernet
- Send and receive broadcast messages
- Full-duplex mode
(simplified)
- Answer to echo
ping-requests
- Supports transfer rates at 100Mbit/s
- Fully synchronous implementation, which uses block-RAM for storage
- Compatible with standard Ethernet transceivers and MII
- Check incoming messages
for CRC errors

Information
RealFast is a member of
the Common License
Consortium. As a member, RealFast supports the SignOnce IP License for
customers who wish to use any of our cores in Xilinx
programmable logic devices. The SignOnce IP License represents a landmark
accomplishment for the intellectual property (IP) industry. It is a set of
standard terms being accepted by many of the industry's leading providers of
soft IP cores for use in programmable logic. With this agreement, customers
only have to review and execute one license to ease access to FPGA cores from
multiple suppliers.
